Can you kick it at sold out Electric Picnic?
The first acts for September's sold out Electric Picnic at Stradbally Laois were announjced this morning with The xx set to headline Friday night, A Tribe Called Quest topping the bill on Saturday night and the legendary Duran Duran closing the weekend on Sunday night.
This year’s Electric Picnic is completely sold out prior to revealing the acts that will perform at this year’s festival. There isn’t a single ticket left to sell. In its 13 year history Electric Picnic has never sold out ahead of the line-up release and so far in advance of the festival weekend.
With just 151 days to go until Stradbally Hall opens its gates to welcome 55,000 picknickers, promoters confirmed that tickets for Electric Picnic are now officially sold out apart from a limited number of tickets available to Three customers, Ireland’s favourite festival sold out in a record two hours this morning
Picnickers snapped up the tickets within 2 hours of going on sale at 9.00am this morning, yet again demonstrating the unwavering popularity of Ireland’s favourite music and arts festival – Electric Picnic.
But the best bit is yet to come for those of you lucky enough to get tickets!
