Meath golfer set for Young Masters test near Agusta
Young Mornington golfer Thomas Mulligan, who turned 18 this month and is a member of Laytown and Bettystown Golf Club, will be in action this month at Sage Valley (USA) for the Young Masters Championship near Agusta.
This prestigious invitational event is recognition for the Meath golfer's excellent ability.
He is also a member of Baltray Golf Club and represents Ireland under the GUI in competitions nationally and internationally and is ranked number one in Europe in the u-18 category.
'Thomas has been a student of mine since for about six years and is one of the best talents ireland has ever had and he is also a very grounded young man,' commented O'Grady.
'He is currently ranked number one in Europe at under-18 level and has played for and represented Ireland at various age levels,' he added.
