Another Fairyhouse winner for Noel Meade
Noel Meade finished the Fairyhouse Easter Festival with four winners to his credit when he took the mares' flat race today with the Danny Benson-partnered Half The Odds.
Meade and Benson won with Red Jack on Sunday in the Tattersalls Ireland Sales Bumper while Road To Respect and Showem Silver were also on the mark.
Of today's winner Meade said 'I thought she would win, that's it for the season, she'll go out on grass and come back jumping next year.'
Gordon Elliott maintained his relentless pursuit for the NH trainers' title and was on the mark with Potters Point in a beginners chase and Cracking Smart in the concluding bumper.
After sustaining a broken arm in a fall in the National yesterday, Barry Geraghty will be sidelined for up to three months only a couple of weeks after returning from injury.
