Fire causes serious damage at St Ultan's club
Hard-working St Ultan's GAA club officials were shocked at the totally unnecessary fire-damage that was caused to their all-weather pitch at the weekend.
The damage was caused at the St Ultan's pitch at Sean Newman Park where the popular all-weather facility is located at the rear of the playing pitch and adjacent to the clubhouse.
Club officials posted on the Facebook page the following:
ANTI SOCIAL ACTIVITY 29/4/2017
Saturday evening will go down as a sad evening in the history of our club, following the arson attack on our all weather facility.
It's a huge disappointment to see the pitch that is used by so many members of our community vandalised by a small number of like minded individuals.
If anyone has any information please contact in strict confidentiality our club phone on (083) 8220079.
