Fit families wanted from Meath

Ireland's Fittest Family returns for a fifth series this year and the show is looking for Meath families to enter. Over the past four series, no family from Meath has even entered the competition, let alone made it on the show, but it hoped all that can be changed this year.

We are sure there are plenty of very fit families out there who can do the county proud so now is the time to put your name forward and apply.

The minimum age for anyone taking part is 14 and the show is recorded in the summer after the state exams so it won't interfere with those.

Since exploding onto our screens in 2014, four remarkable families have been crowned Ireland’s Fittest Family.

Does your family have what it takes to be this year’s winner and take home a prize €15,000? The show is searching the country to find the fittest, fastest and strongest families Ireland has to offer.
