Ann Harrington to Rattle Dunshaughlin

Ann Harrington and her band The Rattle Shakes will play at a fundraising event for Dunshaughlin's Gaelscoil na Ríthe in Peters Pub, Dunshaughlin on Saturday 13th May. 

Ann has performed internationally, at hot spots in Dublin and music festivals around the country. She has performed with household names such as Ronnie Wood of the Rolling Stones, Paul Brady and many more. She has never performed in her hometown of Dunshaughlin, so this will be a homecoming for her where friends, family, neighbours and the local community will get to see Ann and the Rattle Shakes perform. All in aid of her children's school Gaelscoil Na Ríthe.

The Rattle Shakes are a high energy original band. The front woman singer / songwriter 'Harrie' has been likened to Janis Joplin and Jim Morrison. The band will transport you to another realm. They rocked Trailer Park EP. Their latest track 'Strange Longings ' has been nominated for best music video award. New Wave music, this is one band not to be missed.

The Gaelscoil was established in Dunshaughlin over 30 years ago and is well embedded in the local community. Over three decades more than 1,100 children have passed through the doors.
