Saddle up the family for a day at Navan Racecourse
Looking for some Saturday fun for you and the kids? This could be the answer. Navan Racecourse are hosting a special Family Day tomorrow (Saturday, 20th May) with free pony rides, climbing wall, bouncy castles, toddler zones, as well complimentary ice creams, drink and crisps.
The Family Day tickets are €20 and admits two adults and any number of children with the first race in a seven race card off at 2pm.
It's a busy few weeks for the Racecourse staff up on the Proudstown Road too. They're also buiding up to Best Dressed Window Competition for the Summer Ladies Day on Saturday 3rd June.
Navan Racecourse is encouraging local people to shop local for their own ladies day outfit. Pictures of all the dressed windows will be taken and put on Navan racecourse social media pages, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Each shop that enters will receive 5 complimentary admissions for Ladies Day.
The winner of “The Best Dressed Window” will receive a VIP Day for four to race meeting of their choice. This includes
* VIP Admission with access to the Owners, Members and Trainers Bar
* Racecard
* 4 course lunch
* Reserved table for the day in the Bective Restaurant
* An advert for your business in the racecard – ( up to 3,000) are sold each raceday
What you need to do
* Dress you window for Ladies Day from Monday 15th May – Saturday 3rd June
* Display a Ladies Poster in your window
