Yoga festival for Moynalty

Moynalty Yoga Festival, a healthy living, alcohol-free festival based on spiritual development, returns for its sixth year this June 17th-18th. The festival, organised by Masters of Calm, will be held at the Moynalty Threshing Field.

Participants are invited for a weekend to enjoy Mother Nature, relax, experience spiritual uplifting, gain knowledge, restore their powers, create, grow, learn, re-discover and experience life-changing adventures.
The main goal of the festival is to raise understanding and awareness of oneself. There will be vegetarian food served at the festival, and the entire weekend is alcohol-free.
At this unique festival, people will learn from teachers who are best at what they do in areas such as healthy living, different variations of yoga, gongs, drumming, meditations, and breathing workshops. There will be lectures on 'How to create family traditions', 'How to turn the job into the game' and more. There will also be a host of creative and practical activities that people can take part in as they choose.
As Simas Skuzinskas, one of the festival organisers, explains: “We will be inviting people to communicate and get to know themselves and the world around them through theoretical and practical lectures and workshops. The aim of this is to teach people how to reveal and train their consciousness – this is how big changes inside people and the world around them start”
“The festival is family-friendly. There is no age limit, and there will be plenty of activities for everyone. There will be a special place for younger children where they will be overseen by experienced staff. Parents are invited to bring their children along, and will be able to spend time at their activities while their children are cared for.”
The organisers will include music, improvisations, and games that will attract people to activities, raise awareness of what a happy and fulfilling life is, raise important meaningful questions, and encourage people to look for recipes for 'how to be happy'.
