Jones surprise inclusion for Louth opener
Jones, whose only other appearance for the seniors was as a 52nd minute replacement for Andy Tormey during last year's Leinster SFC semi-final loss to Dublin, will start a competitive match for the seniors for the first time after an impressive couple of performances in recent weeks.
The Dunboyne midfielder will replace James Toher as the Trim man continues to recover from a torn calf muscle that limited his training in the weeks after the end of the NFL Div 2 campaign.
Brian Power is the other major absentee with injury ruling out the Ratoath man.
Dunboyne's Shane McEntee will be the only debutant for Sunday's game as his father Andy McEntee sticks with the majority of the side that impressed in the latter stages of the league.
