Man in court in connection with Gallagher murder

A 29-year-old Dublin man appeared in Trim Court today charged with alleged failure to give information about the murder of Dubliner Paul Gallagher who was in his 20s and who was found shot dead in a field at Ballymacon, Collon, Co Louth, three years ago.
Sean Barrett with an address at the Beeches, The Donaghies, Donaghmede, Co Dublin is accused of failing to give information about the murder of Paul Gallagher at Ballymacon, Collon, between 28th July and 30th July 2014.
Sergeant Raymond Smith gave evidence of arrest. He objected to bail and Judge Cormac Dunne has adjourned the case for a short time to allow gardai check an address provided by the accused.
