Gardai seize €1.2m worth of cocaine and cannabis in Meath
As part of ongoing investigations into organised crime groups operating in the West Dublin and Meath divisions, Gardaí have arrested two men and seized cocaine and cannabis with a street value of €1.2million.
The drugs were seized when a vehicle was stopped and searched in the Slane area on the Saturday 24th June 2017. Following searches and further investigations two males in their 60s were arrested today 27th June and are currently detained at Blanchardstown Garda Station under Section 2 of Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996. They can be detained for up to seven days.
Gardaí from Drugs & Organised Crime Bureau and Special Crime Task Force were involved in this operation.
