Meath Pool League set for action

The Meath Pool League will start this evening across a number of venues and some keen rivalries are anticipated.

To mark the new season there was a special competition last weekend for the Navan Super Cup which featured the winners of the League and the Cup from last season.

The Balreask A (League Winners) and Bective A (Knock Out Cup Winners) went head-to-head in Paddy Fitzsimons last Friday night.

The Balreask took the early bragging rights on a scoreline of 8-1 with Josh Byrne and Ian Govendar securing victory.
