Bus woes for local commuters

Changes to Bus Eireann's 109 service which came into effect yesterday (17th September) have been causing chaos for local commuters. Many frustrated commuters have been venting their anger over buses turning up late this morning, on social media. 

One commuter reported that no 109a airport service came to Kells for three hours leaving DCU students stranded, while the 109x from Cavan was full when it got to Kells. 

In was recently announced that the current route 109 would be divided into three separate routes with an express service now introduced from Navan. Have you used the new express service today? Let us know what you think of it?

Another commuter pointed out that the new changes mean  there is now no bus service for people going from Navan to Cavan and they now have to change in Kells and wait for the bus to Cavan.

Separately, passengers in Ballivor waiting for the only bus going to Dublin this morning (6.30am)  were left stranded when no bus turned up and the 7.25am bus from Trim also didn't show up.
