Visit Lottery winners' room for Culture Night
The public will have a unique opportunity to get a look behind the scenes of the National Lottery as part of Culture Night, this Friday 22nd September. The National Lottery is giving the Irish public the chance to peek inside the Winners' Room, where hundreds of dreams have been made over the last three decades, as it opens its doors from 6pm-9pm on Friday.
Visitors will take a stroll down memory lane in the form of a mini exhibition of Lottery memorabilia, including the original Lotto draw drum, a roulette wheel and will get the chance to spin the iconic Grand Prize Wheel from the TV show, Winning Streak.
That’s not all as guests who visit on the night will get to meet RTE personalities associated with National Lottery games: Lotto presenters Nuala Carey and Kamal Ibrahim, and host of Winning Streak, Marty Whelan.
Our exhibition will give visitors the chance to test their own luck and a select few will get the chance to take step inside the shoes of a Lotto winner and get to sit inside the coveted Winners' Room. This is the place where more than €8.8 billion in prizes has been signed over to winners over the past three decades and is the place all National Lottery game players dream to be some day.
