Keane edge to title race
The race for the flat jockeys' title continues with Trim's Colin Keane now five in front of the defending champion Pat Smullen following today's action at Naas.
Keane had one winner, to add to the Dundalk double he had yesterday, while Smullen had two winners at the Kildare track to add to the one winner he had at Dundalk yesterday.
Today at Naas, Keane moved five clear in the title race when Who's Steph trained by Ger Lyons won a maiden event and could re-appear at Navan next Sunday.
Keane is now on 79 winners with Offaly man Smullen on 74.
The next racing action will take place at Dundalk on Friday and then Navan has a flat card on Sunday.
