The sides were level 1-3 apiece at the interval but in the second-half Curraha steadily added to their account while Oldcastle struggled to find fluency - and scores.
David Coyle grabbed Curraha's goal while Conor Moriarty, who scored four points over the hour , David Toner (two), Niall Murphy, James McEntee, Sean Keogh, Gavin Coyle and David Coyle (two) also pointed for the winners.
Oldcastle were reduced to 14 men on 52 minutes when Ronan Maguire, who had just come on as a substitute, was red carded. Stephen Tierney, with a first-half penalty, and Darren Hawdon in the dying seconds, found the net for Oldcastle but they couldn't derail Curraha.
