Keane strikes late equaliser at Dundalk
In football terms Colin Keane hit a 90th minute equaliser at Dundalk tonight when he won the last race on the card to cancel Pat Smullen's victory in the opening race.
Keane was on board the Tom McCourt-trained Ben Rumson and he took the spoils from Pat Smullen on board the Gordon Elliott-trained Jock Talk with half-a-length to spare.
Smullen won the opening race on Andesh for Michal Halford but Keane hit back as Tom McCourt's Ben Rumson followed up on his course win from a fortnight back to move on to the 85-winner mark for the season, three ahead of Smullen on 82.
The action continues at Cork tomorrow and Naas on Sunday.
