Know the Score returns for new series

Know The Score returns for a second season of quizzical antics  next week as Ireland’s brightest sports stars face off in the ultimate  seven part sporting trivia contest which proved a big hit with viewers last year. 
There will also be an hour long Know the Score Christmas special again this year.

Our national and international stars have proven themselves on the track, in the ring, on the pitch and in the water but can they hold their own in the studio?

Presenter Jacqui Hurley asks the difficult questions of team captains, horse racing legend Ruby Walsh and Irish rugby great Shane Byrne. On every show, this trio is joined by select members of sport’s intelligentsia.
Over the course of the series, Ruby and Shane will scrum down with boxing legend Barry McGuigan, Dublin’s All Ireland winning free taker Dean Rock, top horse racing trainer Jessica Harrington, Irish soccer centurion John O’Shea, superstar sprinter Gina Akpe-Moses and Leinster and Ireland hooker Sean Cronin – plus lots more athletic talent. 

Can these stars prove they Know The Score when Jacqui tests their general sports knowledge?
