Civil Defence conference comes to Trim

The Civil Defence annual Education and Training conference takes place in the Knightsbrook Hotel in Trim from 7th to 9th November.
This is the first time since 2004 the conference comes to Meath, and over 180 Civil Defence Officers, volunteers and guests will attend the conference and trade show, making it the largest in its 20 year history.
There will be over 30 trades stands displaying and demonstrating equipment and products used by civil defence, aswell as guest speakers giving presentations on the Air Ambulance service, Aid to disaster areas, Health & Safety, Rail Safety and Community CPR programmes.
Minister for Defence Paul Kehoe TD will attend the conference dinner on Wednesday, 8th November.
