Arrests in teen assault investigation

Three female juveniles have been arrested as part of the garda investigation into the assault on two teenagers in Gormanston on Sunday, 5th November.
The arrests were made today and the three teenage girls are being detained at Ashbourne Garda Station.

The arrests come as Gardai continue their investigation into the assault on two 17-year-olds from Laytown who were set upon by a large gang of youths at Gormanston Railway Station on Sunday. One of the victims suffered a broken nose and they both had cuts and bruises. They were taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, and have since been released.
