Martin O'Halloran not seeking any Co Board positions
Outgoing Meath GAA PRO Martin O'Halloran will not be seeking election to any positions on the Meath Co Board at convention.
The Rathmolyon clubman told the Meath Chronicle this evening that he would be concentrating on his recent new role as Leinster GAA PRO - a position to which he was elected earlier this year.
The Meath GAA annual convention will take place next month at Navan O'Mahonys on Monday 11th December and O'Halloran had been nominated for four positions - vice-chairman, secretary, assistant-secretary and Irish Officer.
O'Halloran's decision not to contest any of the positions leaves the way clear for Dunshaughlin's Mairead Delaney to take over the role of secretary from Francis Flynn as she is the only other nominee for that position.
