Steve Wickham joins Lost Brothers for two special Navan gigs

The Lost Brothers play two special homecoming concerts at The Solstice Arts Centre on Railway Street. The Navan concerts will mark the 10th year of the band's growing career as touring and recording artists. The special gigs will take place Friday December 8th and Saturday December 9th in the hometown of one of the duo, Oisin Leech.

"In January we have a new album coming so it's perfect timing to be playing these 10th anniversary gigs in my hometown," says Oisin. "We will play new songs and mix it in with the old classics."

Steve Wickham from The Waterboys has already been announced as one of the special guests joining The Lost Brothers for the two nights.

"Over both nights we've invited some friends down whom we have met over 10 years on the road-to perform with us. We have a bit of a hootenanny planned" says Oisin, whose singing partner is Mark McCausland from Omagh.

The Lost Brothers have just been confirmed for US dates in March and Australian dates in April with a busy Irish and UK tour planned for January and February. 
The new album is called "Halfway Towards A Healing" and was recorded in Tucson Arizona with Gabriel Sullivan and Howe Gelb from Giant Sand. It is already available for pre-order on the Lost Brothers website.
"It's been a great ten years so far with The Lost Brothers and it's always a very special night at The Solstice" states Oisin. "We heard there were a few people locked out last year so we promised we'd do a second night so everyone gets a seat!"
Early booking is advised for the Solstice concerts as both nights are selling out.
