Man dies following Kells house fire

Gardaí have confirmed that one man in his early 40s has died following a fire at a house on Archdeaconry Glebe, Kells. The fire was reported to emergency services at about 8.15am. this morning, Saturday 9th December, 2017.
Two men (early 40s and mid 40s) and a woman (early 40s) were taken to Our Lady's Hospital, Navan from the scene and one man was subsequently pronounced dead. The other two people remain in hospital and are understood not to be seriously injured.
The house is sealed off and a technical examination will be carried this morning and enquiries are ongoing.
