Kevin Reilly new manager of Navan O'Mahonys
Former Meath player Kevin Reilly will dip his toes in the managerial pool for 2018 when he takes charge of Navan O'Mahonys.
Reilly will be at the helm of the club that he enjoyed so much success with as a player with the target to get the Keegan Cup back on the Navan O'Mahonys sideboard in 2018.
That will be a tough assignment for the new man in charge at Brews Hill as Navan neighbours Simonstown Gaels will now target a three in-a-row after an impressive campaign this year.
Reilly will be the third manager at the Brews Hill club in three years and he takes over only 12 months after O'Mahonys appointed Tomas Ó Flaharta as a replacement for Davy Nelson.
However, this time around Navan O'Mahonys stayed local, selectors have not yet been finalised and that task is likely to be completed in the next couple of weeks.
Last year saw O Flathárta taking over from Davy Nelson who moved to Co. Louth and Kevin Reilly was a selector in what was, at that stage, a new role for the popular O'Mahonys man.
In this year's SFC Navan O'Mahonys lost to Moynalvey and Simonstown and only qualified in third place behind those two teams and had to play a preliminary quarter-final which they won against Na Fianna.
They then lost in the quarter-final proper against eventual beaten finalists Summerhill.
