Blast from the past - Navan, Skryne and Oldcastle girls

The response to our request for information on the Rathkenny Rovers photograph generated a lot interest and this week it's the turn of the females for our quest for information.

The Rathkenny photo and the details appeared in this week's edition of the Meath Chronicle on the A-Z sports pages.

For next week's edition of the Meath Chronicle information is sought about this photo of Meath under-age teams (u-13 and u-15) from around 1999 or 2000.

The photo is of Meath Olympic Handball teams that competed in a tournament in Sligo that was organised by the Sligo Olympic Handball Association.

Players on the teams were from the Oldcastle, Navan and Skryne areas.
