Navan jockey Danny Hand was on the mark at Fairyhouse today where Gordon Elliott won the featured Dan Moore Chase.
Hand was on board the Dermot McLoughlin-trained Dromore Lad in the three-mile handicap hurdle and was winning for the fourth time since October and completing two in-a-row for the Navan man.
Dromore Lad went for his race two from home and with Shannak falling hand gained a narrow lead over the final flight from Fitzhenry and won by a head.
Elliott and Davy Russell won the big race when landing the Bar One Racing Dan Moore Memorial Handicap Chase with Doctor Phoenix.
Acapella Bourgeois didn't really figure and the front-running Kilcarry Bridge was reeled in going to the last by Doctor Phoenix which forged clear to win by nine lengths.
Elliott and Russell enjoyed a double as Mitchouka got back to winning ways in a hurdle.
Jessica Harrington's Close Shave denied Elliott and Russell anothetr winner as Barry Geraghty got going from the lastt in the novice chase.
