Fox's back in the hunt

Fox's blew Div 2 of the Meath Pool League wide open with a surprise 7-3 victory over leaders Carnaross Inn.
Strong performances from Nicky Ball and Brian Dunne secured the first two frames for Fox's against the host' Dickie Reilly and Cillian Porter.
Paul Dunne and Phuil Yore stopped the rot for Carnaross Inn by winning the next two frames to make it 2-2, but as Fox's battled to secure a play-off spot Alam Coombes and Billy Woods restored their two frame lead with superb wins.
Brian Dunne and Nick Kelly combined to stretch Fox's lead by winning the opening doubles rubber, while Alan Coombes and Billy Woods made it 6-2 for the visitors.
Deckie Reilly and Cillian Porter did manage to pull one doubles frame back, but Fox's were dominant and strolled to the 7-3 win.
