M3 reopens after hounds incident
At least three hounds were killed and a number injured following an incident on the M3 this afternoon where a large number of hounds were running loose on the motorway between Navan and Skryne.
According to the gardai at least one car was damaged, but no humans were injured in the incident which happened in the last hour or so.
The motorway was closed Southbound between Navan North and Skryne for a short period as the gardai dealt with the situation.
The hounds are believed to be part of a hunt that was taking place in the area.
