Tragic end for Ralf, our little star of the snow

Gorgeous little Ralf, the Jack Russell cross who stole everyone's heart during Storm Emma, was tragically killed last week.

His owners, Ian Bruton and Sharon Waters, are devastated at this death which occured on Tuesday when he was hit by a car in Navan.

Ralf had attracted a lot of attention during the snowy weather as he strutted around in his little red jacket, winning the hearts of everyone he encountered.

Described by Sharon as  " our li'l sweetheart" she said; "We are heartbroken. His 'Dad' Ian is distraught."

Ralf was just five years old and Ian had him since he was a pup.

"He was a little dote," says Sharon.
