Aaron J looking for votes on TV3 tonight
With two Meath-based acts through to Saturday night’s final of ‘Ireland’s Got Talent’ on TV3, Aaron J Hart from Navan will be hoping he can join them when he takes part in tonight's semi-final.
Supporters of rapper Aaron will have a chance to vote for him on Thursday evening, when he appears on the Helix stage.
The 24 year-old Galway native stole the show in his heat with the four judges plumping for him, and a huge reaction from the crowd.
Aaron, who spoke about his life growing up homeless with his mother, as well as his depression, performed an original song called ‘Show Pain’, which he said was written through his own experiences and which he credited with saving his life.
On Monday evening at The Helix at DCU, hop hop dance crew Fit Kids Fit Teens (FKFT), run by Jacinta Cassidy from Mornington, got through, along with Ratoath singer, Linda McLoughlin.
The show got off to a high tempo start with FKFT opening with a mash up of Bruno Mars and Kriss Kross. The 14-strong crew put on an electrifying and energetic performance which blew the judges away.
Louis Walsh’s ‘Golden Buzzer’ act, Linda McLoughlin gave a spine-tingling performance of ‘The Power of Love’, described as a roof raiser.
Tonight’s show begins at 8.30pm on TV3. The grand final is on Saturday 24th March at 7.30pm.
Tickets to the live shows are available from www.thehelix.ie from €26, plus booking fee.
