Meath to face Louth on Saturday
Meath's crucial NFL Div 2 clash with Louth in Drogheda will take place on Saturday 31st March at 3pm, the GAA have confirmed this afternoon.
It was originally planned to play the two games that were postponed from two weekends ago on Easter Sunday, but with a number of league finals on Sunday the GAA have decided to play the two games, Meath against Louth and Down's home game versus Tipperary, on Saturday.
Meath need at least a draw to secure their Div 2 status for 2019, while Down need to defeat Tipperary in Newry to have any chance of survival.
A Meath draw, coupled with a Down win would send Cork down to Div 3, but if Meath win then Down will be relegated along with Louth.
