Some important news for TV viewers in Ashbourne

 Virgin Media has announced it is preparing customers in Ashbourne to switch over to our digital platform. This will involve the reduction of channels in the current analogue line up but the comopany says it will offer more, for the same price, if customers switch over to digital.

The digital upgrade will replace the town’s analogue television service with a modern new digital signal, bringing Ashbourne in line with the rest of Europe and allowing residents to receive a wide range of digital TV services.

The move will also allow Virgin Media, who have been recently been named Ireland’s fastest broadband provider for the third year running, to improve the performance and capacity of their broadband network in the town.
