Carmody and Bandila best at Dunboyne 10k
Dunboyne AC hosted the third annual Clonee 10k road race this evening with conditions understandably hot.
Mike Carmody from An Bry AC was first home in 32:37 with Brian Geraghty (Sli Cualann) in second in 33:34 and local man Rory Kavanagh in third.
A high quality field was represented by athletes mainly from clubs in Meath, Dublin, Kildare.
Dunboyne's Jane Bandila took the women's accolade in 37:33 ahead of Sinead Tangley (Sportsworld) in 38:06.
