WILDFIRES: Meath Fire Service putting in fire breaks in Frayne Bog

Fire breaks are currently being put in place to prevent spread of fire in Frayne Bog in Kildalkey. Meath Fire Service have assessed the risk to properties from the air and presently there no risk to any residential properties.

This follows frantic afforts by local crews assisted by property and land owners last night to prevent flames from spreading to homes after the wind directin and speed changed fanning flames towards Wood Lane.
