Kiltale and Meath GAA suffers great loss with passing of Ronan Kelly
Kiltale Hurling Club, the local community and Meath GAA in general have suffered a huge loss with the sudden death of Ronan Kelly.
Ronan was the PRO of Kiltale Hurling Club and a well-known figure in Meath GAA.
Ronan is survived by his mother Breda, father Paddy, his brothers James and Padraig and sister Sarah, his grandfather Paddy senior as well as aunts and uncles.
Ronan Kelly was a regular at Kiltale or Meath hurling games and was rightfully proud of the club's great achievements in recents years when they won four successive SHC titles. He was in attendance for the SHC draw between Kildalkey and Kiltale at Pairc Tailteann on Sunday evening.
Ronan had muscular dystrophy but he didn't let the condition prevent him from following the sport, or the club, he loved. "Ronan was a great battler," said he father Paddy.
Funeral details later.
