Meath clubs face away day blues
Meath face away days in the opening rounds of every Leinster Club competition when they get underway in late October/early November after the draws were made in Portlaoise last week.
In a repeat of last year's Leinster Club SFC draw the Meath senior champions will have to travel to take on the Wexford champions in Wexford Park on Sunday 28th October with the winners facing a home game against the Dublin winners in the quarter-final two weeks later.
The Meath SHC winners also face a trip to the sunny south-east to take on the Wexford intermediate winners in the Leinster Club IHC on Saturday 3rd November with the prize, should they win, a home semi-final against either the Kilkenny intermediate winners or the Kildare senior champions on Saturday 17th November.
The Louth IFC champions will host the Meath intermediate winners in the Leinster Club IFC on Saturday 27th October with the winners at home to Laois two weeks later.
Meath's junior football winners will travel to take on the Offaly champions on Saturday 27th October in the Leinster Club JFC where victory will set up a quarter-final tie against either the Dublin winners of the European senior champions.
The Meath intermediate hurling winners will also travel to Offaly to take on the Offaly intermediate winners in the Leinster Club JHC on Saturday 20th October.
