Big games this weekend in Gerry Reilly Leinster FT

Meath will tackle Louth in the semi-final of the Leinster u-16 Gerry Reilly Cup FT at Oldcastle's Millbrook ground on Sunday evening at 7pm. 

Cavan will play Longford in the other semi-final at 8pm on Saturday evening.

The competition is sponsored by Briody Bedding.

"Some 16 teams set out to win the Gerry Reilly Cup this year and we are now down to the last four," commented Oldacle official
and tournament co-ordinator Eddie O'Reilly.

"In the first semi-final on Saturday evening, Longford take on Cavan. Cavan had a big win over Dublin in the quarter-final and Longford 
had a terrific victory over Down in their quarter-final, so it promises to be a great match.

"On Sunday evening it's the turn of Meath and Louth and that's going to be a cracker. Louth were powerful in their game against Carlow in the quarter-final while Meath were equally impresive in their win over Wicklow in the other quarter-final," he added.
