Five at Perth for Gordon Elliott

Gordon Elliott sent out five winners today at Perth from seven runners with the other two finishing second and third for the Summerhill man.

Elliott's winners were partnered by Richard Johnson and the combined odds represented 98-1.

Make My Heart Fly (4/1) got the afternoon off to a flyer with a 16-length romp in the first division of the three-mile handicap hurdle and that was followed by King’s Song (13/8) and Galvin 1/4  in a two-mile maiden hurdle.

Cubomania (11/4) made it four in-a-row in the novices’ handicap chase, but they suffered their first reverse after High Expectations was narrowly beaten in the following two-mile handicap hurdle.

Anytime Now was third in a two-and-a-half-mile handicap hurdle while Carrie Des Champs (8/13) won the concluding mares’ bumper.
