Parkvilla v Trim Celtic - the big Cup tie
The big game that Meath soccer enthusiasts will be eagerly awaiting is the North East Football League Challenge Cup third round tie between Parkvilla and Trim Celtic at Claremont Stadium later this month.
The draws for the second and third round of the Challenge Cup were completed last night and that tie is the standout fixture.
Both teams have previously played at intermediate level in the Leinster Senior League and Parkvilla only affilaited to the NEFL this season.
The tie will put Parkvilla manager Derek Coogan in opposition to Trim Celtic manager Alan Murphy - both men enjoyed tremendous success together with Navan Cosmos.
This is the type of game that should attract a big crowd and it should be an exciting encounter.
