Ref appointed for ladies final

Roscommon’s Gerry Carmody, who took charge of the 2018 Connacht senior final between Galway and Mayo, will referee the Ladies All-Ireland IFC final between Meath and Tyrone at Croke Park on Sunday 16th September.

Representing Ballaghaderreen in Roscommon, Gerry Carmody, who refereed the 2016 All-Ireland senior club final between Monaghan’s Donaghmoyne and Dublin outfit Foxrock-Cabinteely, is a vastly-experienced official.

The game between Meath and Tyrone will be his first time to oversee an All-Ireland inter-county final at Croke Park.

The All-Ireland Junior final will be refereed by Niall McCormack, who hails from the St Conleth’s club in Laois.

Mayo’s Garryowen McMahon, a native of Monaghan, will take charge of the eagerly-anticipated senior decider between Dublin,
the reigning champions, and Cork.
