Metallica for Slane 2019

Slane Castle was remaining tightlipped today on plans for the 2019 concert, but heavy metal quartet Metallia have indicated they will be playing on the banks of the Boyne next summer.
An official announcement is expected on next summers concert on 24th Sepetember, but the rockers seem to have jumped the gun and informed fans of plans to play Slane next year.
Earlier this year, Lord Henry Mountcharles said that while there wouldn't be a concert this year, there will be one in 2019.
The Los Angeles foursome — James Hetfield, Robert Trujillo, Lars Ulrich and Kirk Hammett have always been big fans of Thin Lizzy who headlined the very first Slane in 1981. 
Hard rock has always been a major draw at Slane and last year Guns N’ Roses sold out 80,000 tickets in just one day when they were announced as headliners.
