North Meath show good form
North Meath's impressive start to the Leinster League Div 3 continued against hosts Swords on Sunday as they coasted to a 31-17 bonus point victory.
Andrew Dowds opened the scoring for the Meath men, but they soon fell 5-12 behind as Swords bounced back with two tries, the second despite being reduced to 14 men.
Adrian Sheridan replied with the best try of the day to cut the deficit and with the wind at their backs North Meath started the second-half well with Conor Grey skating over to give his side the lead again.
North Meath dominated possession inside the Swords 22 and after a sustained period of pressure Eanna Finn crossed for the bonus point try.
Niall Flynn added a fifth try after several periods of multiple phases and even though Swords got in for a late conslation the result was never in doubt.
