Meath fails to figure in Irish Takeaway Awards

We're feeling a little aggrieved and well, a bit peckish too.

The annual Just Eat National Takeaway Awards took place in Number 22, Dublin this evening.

The event was hosted by popular Irish presenter Cassie Stokes and singer/songwriter Jake Carter.

As always, the diversity of choice all around Ireland’s takeaway sector saw winners emerge from every corner of the country with Firehouse Pizza, Ballymun taking home the spoils on the night.

The pizza restaurant was named the Best Takeaway Ireland as well as Best Takeaway Dublin and Best Takeaway Pizza.

However, Meath wasn't even on the shortlist? Shurely shume mishtake? What do you think, there must be some top class takeaway serving up super nosebags in the Royal County?
