Another title for Kilmessan
Kilmessan won the Leinster Junior Camogie title again today with a hard-earned 1-13 to 2-9 victory over Westmeath side Raharney at Edenderry.
Aimee Nea found the net for an early Raharney goal, but Katie Ni Choileain sent over three points in response for Kilmessan
It was level after 20 minutes at 1-1 to 0-4, but Raharney found the net for second time through Pamela Greville and quickly added some points to establish a 2-4 to 0-5 interval lead.
Kilmessan upped their performance in the second-half and soon after the three-quarter stage had the deficit down to the minimum (1-9 to 2-7)
Kilmessan continued in the ascendancy and added late points to secure a sensational victory by the minimum.
Leinster Camogie Association chairman Pat Martin presented the cup to the jubilant Kilmessan captain Katie Ní Choileáin.
