Casey for Late Late Show couch...will you be watching?

Businessman and former presidential candidate will appear on RTE's Late Late Show tonight where host Ryan Tubridy is expected to quiz the Fermanagh native on his many controversial comments and his future plans.

With little over a week left before polling day Casey seemed destined to finish last in the race with opinion polls predicting he'd end up with 1% of the vote. However a string of statements including some controversial remarks about the Traveller community seemed to kick his campaign into life and catapulted him to second place in the final poll, where he received 342,727 or 23 % of the vote, with voters in the Meath East giving the former Dragons Den investor 20.5% while Meath West constituents gave him 22 % of the vote.

Also appearing on the Late Late Show will be former President Mary Robinson, as well as recently retired boxer Andy Lee, RTE host  Jennifer Zamparelli and economist David McWilliams.
