Contest anticipated for chair of Meath GAA Co Board
Meath Co Board chairman Peter O'Halloran will face a challenge for the role at the annual Meath GAA convention that is scheduled to take place at Navan O'Mahonys clubhous on Monday 10th December next.
Walterstown clubman eamonn Barry has been nominated for the position and if unsuccessful he has also received nominations for other positions.
Current PRO Ciaran Flynn and Eamonn Barry will challenge Mairead Delaney for the secretary's position but assistant-secretary Anne McDonnell will be
returned unopposed.
Also unopposed is Irish officer Denise Ní Muireagáin but all the remaining positions look set to go to a vote.
