Finegan's way as St Patrick's Slane prevail

Scores were scarce, but there was plenty of excitement as St Patrick's NS Slane claimed the Meath Primary Schools Girls Div 2/3 Shield with a narrow 1-6 to 0-6 victory over Longwood NS at Pairc Tailteann this afternoon.
Molly Finegan's goal proved to be the decisive score in this tight encounter. The Slane girls led by 0-4 to 0-3 at the break and looked set for victory when Finegan's goal made it 1-5 to 0-4.
Longwood did get back to within two, but time ran out as Slane held on.
