Success for Scoil Naomh Eoin
Scores were few and far between, but there was no shortage of excitement as Scoil Naomh Eoin claimed the Meath Primary Schools Boys Div 2/3 Shield with a narrow, but deserved 0-5 to 0-2 victory over a Longwood side that didn't get the scores their creativity deserved at Pairc Tailteann this afternoon.
The winners led 0-3 to 0-0 at the break, but were pegged back to just one point soon after the break. However, in a rousing finishing Naomh Eoin hit a couple of late points to seal the win and complete double heartbreak for Longwood.
