Finders keepers! Judge allows woman who found diamond ring to keep it!

Christmas came early at Trim District Court for a woman who found a diamond ring in the street.

The woman found the ring a year ago and last week the Gardai made an application to Judge Miriam Walsh for the disposal of the property under the Police Property Act. Inspector Declan Power said that no one had come forward to claim the ring in the last year. The judge then made an order giving the ring to the woman who found the ring. "Happy Christmas" said the judge as she signed the order for the delighted recipient.
