Winners turn Hosts for 2019 Meath Style Awards
Break out the red carpet, the sparkles, the sequins and the champagne, the Meath Style Awards are back and bigger than ever!
The 9th annual Meath Style Awards was officially launched this week and we're delighted to welcome back so many of our loyal and loved sponsors as well as announce some new faces and brands to the party.
We are especially delighted that our title sponsor for the event, Specsavers Navan, is back again for their 6th year in supporting what is always one of the highlights of the year on the social calendar with a full house always guaranteed.
Back with a bang too is last year's Overall Meath style Award winners, Funky Fashion Frolics. Not content with scooping the prizes, this year the fabulous duo of Mike McCarthy and Paul Carroll will HOST the glittering award ceremony in The Headfort Hotel on 29th March.
Mike and Paul are both style icons in their own right having built up a massive following on the Funky Fashion Frolics blog.
Graduates from Design College, they have been blogging for the past three years on fashion and design and are well known by all the businesses in Meath and very supportive of local companies and boutiques involved in the fashion, design and style business.
Some of our other sponsors have been with us from the beginning, none more so than the Headfort Hotel, our host sponsor for the event – and where better to showcase the finalists than in this beautiful 4 star hotel in the heart of Kells.
Entries to the awards increase every year and we are very pleased to announce that Skin & Bodyworks has joined us this year as a sponsor after succeeding in winning her category at last year’s event.
A big thanks and welcome too for McGarry Tiles & Bathrooms and Yes Boss for joining us this year we know you'll have a great night at the event and seeing the hard work of so many great local enterprises in the business of style being honoured.
Other new sponsors joining us are Robert Byrne Hairdressing, and Commons Road Pharmacy and we know they will bring their own unique brand of style to the event.
To our returning friends, John Lynch Carpets – thanks to Annette for her continued support. We are also grateful to Ashbourne Town Centre, Boyne Dental, Ebony & Stiletto, Trim and Meath County Council for their continued and much appreciated support of the Meath Style Awards and we hope you enjoy the coverage here, on social media and online in the coming weeks up to the event itself on March 29th.
We're thrilled that Dunshaughlin fashion outlet Picket Fence Boutique will be sponsoring our Best Dressed Person Award on the night.
Commenting at the launch of the 9th Meath Style Awards, Celtic Media Group Marketing Manager, Mary McGuigan said: "The Style Awards are such a special night. It's always wonderful to see all our local boutiques and outlets and artists working in the business of style getting due recognition.
I'm thrilled we were able to get Paul and Mike on board as hosts too and I think there enthusiasm and appreciation of the event as past winners will only add to what is always a fabulous occasion.
It couldn't happen, of course, without our sponsors and we so appreciate their support and encouragement."
So get entering and nominating and we'll see you on the 29th of March at the Headfort.
